Put your Executive in the most centrally-
located room of your home. It should be on a
level surface against an interior wall. Make sure it's at
least two inches from the wall so the humidistat (on the
cord) can accurately read your humidity
More about positioning:
• To maximize humidity circulation, put your unit near a cold air return.
• If you prefer to put your unit in the room where humidity is most needed,
you can! But the humidity won't circulate as well with this method.
• Don't put your humidifier under a window, as condensation may occur.
• Put the unit on the bottom floor of a multi-story home.

Put the fan assembly on the cabinet. Make sure the
float makes a solid connection with the fan switch
inside the fan assembly. The fan switch looks like a small,
silver diving board.

For improved water filtration, you can add two
of our demineralization cartridges #1B73171 (sold
separately). To use, remove your water valve caps, then
screw a demineralization cartridge into each cap. Replace
your caps. We recommend replacing your demineralization
cartridges every 30-90 days.

Lay your water bottles flat and fill them through the
large fill holes. Do not overfill the bottles. Screw
on the fill caps, making sure each cap is correctly threaded.
Your Executive holds 5.7 gallons of water.
Note: Each bottle holds 2.75 gallons per bottle. The right bottle will empty first,
putting .2 gallons of water into the cabinet. At that time, you can refill the right
bottle to get the full 5.7-gallon capacity and maximum run time.
