This warranty extends to the first person who buys this exhaust system for purposes other than resale, and to all subsequent buyers.
  • Page 191 Class III motorcycles (280cc and larger): for a period of use of five (5) years or 30,000 kilometers (18,641 miles), whichever first occurs. If an emission-related part on your motorcycle is defective, the part will be repaired or replaced by INDIAN MOTORCYCLE. This is your emission control system DEFECTS WARRANTY.
  • Page 192 You are responsible for presenting your motorcycle to an INDIAN MOTORCYCLE dealer as soon as a problem exists. The warranty repairs should be completed in a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed 30 days.
  • Page 193 In the State of California only, Emission Control System emergency repairs, as provided for in the California Administrative Code, may be performed by other than an authorized INDIAN MOTORCYCLE dealer. An emergency situation occurs when an authorized INDIAN MOTORCYCLE dealer is not reasonably available, a part is not available within 30 days or a repair is not complete within 30 days. Any replacement part can be used in an emergency repair.

  • Page 196 Any replacement part that is equivalent in performance and durability may be used in the performance of any maintenance or repairs. However, INDIAN MOTORCYCLE is not liable for these parts. The owner is responsible for the performance of all required maintenance.
  • Page 197 If the part fails before the first scheduled replacement point, the part shall be repaired or replaced by INDIAN 7. INDIAN MOTORCYCLE is liable for damages to other vehicle MOTORCYCLE according to subsection (4) below. Any such components proximately caused by a failure, under warranty, part repaired or replaced under warranty shall be warranted of any warranted part.
