Assembly Instructions for the CF Racer1 Add-on Battery
This written guide will walk you through assembling and attaching the CF Racer1 Dual Battery
Add-On

Materials Needed
● Add on Battery
● Dual Battery Splitter
● Add on Battery Connector Cable
● Bolts & Washers
● Cable Guide Sticker
● Ride1Up Hex Key Set (provided with bike)
● Screwdriver
● Torx Screw Set
● Torque Wrench
● Picks (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Remove Bottom Bracket Cover & Non-Drive Side Crank Arm
1. Ensure the bike is stable on the ground upside down resting on the saddle and
handlebars.
2. Using a 4mm Hex Key, unscrew the bottom bracket cover found on the bottom of the
downtube.
3. Using a 6mm Hex Key, unscrew the non-drive side crankarm retention bolt.
4. Using a 5mm Hex Key, unscrew the two crank arm bolts found on the opposing ends of
the crankarm.
5. Remove the non-drive side crank arm and place it on a clean flat surface.
