Disconnect tool from air supply before performing any Service
Procedure.
SYMPTOM
1. Air leak near top of
tool or in trigger area.
2. Tool does nothing or
operates sluggishly.
3. Air leak near bottom
of tool.
4. Tool jams frequently.
5. Other.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEMS
Loose screws.
Worn or damaged
o-rings or seals.
Inadequate air supply.
Inadequate lubrication.
Worn or damaged
o-rings or seals.
Loose screws.
Worn or damaged
o-rings or bumper.
Incorrect fasteners.
Damaged fasteners.
Magazine or nose
screws loose.
Magazine is dirty.
Driver is worn or damaged.

SOLUTIONS
Tighten screws.
Install Overhaul Kit.
Verify adequate air supply.
Put 5 or 6 drops of oil into air inlet.
Install Overhaul Kit.
Tighten screws.
Install Overhaul Kit.
Verify approved fasteners of
correct size.
Replace w/undamaged fasteners.
Tighten screws.
Clean magazine.
Install "DRIVER" Maintenance Kit.
Contact a Porter-Cable/Delta
Service Facility.
