  • Page 6 When powering the camera ON for the first time you may manually go through and setup some of the features of your camera. Powering the Camera ON 1) Make sure the battery has been inserted properly into your DVR. First, open the battery compartment on the side of the camera. Insert the battery in accordance with the polarity indicated.
  • Page 7 Setting the Camera Language You will first be prompted to select a language for the camera. The Language selection menu will appear. Select the language of your choice by pressing the UP and DOWN direction control buttons. Then press the SET button to confirm the selection. After selecting a language, you will be asked if you would like to continue with the initial camera setup.

    Main Camera Modes Your camera has different modes for the various camera functions. You can switch modes by pressing the MODE button on your camera after the camera has been powered ON. Video Capture Mode Use this mode to capture videos with your DVR. This is the default mode when the camera is powered ON.

    Charging the Lithium Battery Only use the Lithium Battery that is included in the packaging. To charge the Lithium Battery insert the battery into the camera in the direction as shown below. 1) Make sure the camera is powered off. 2) Plug in the AC Adapter included in the package and connect the other end to the USB port of the camera.

    Powering the camera OFF While the camera is on, you can press the Power button again at any point to turn your camera OFF. You will see a “Goodbye” splash screen and then the camera will power off completely. Note: Your DVR also has an Auto Power Off feature that will automatically turn off your camera after a specific period of time that your camera is left idle.

    Navigating the Menus Each camera mode has a set of menus specific to that mode. Press the SET/OK button to open the menus for the current mode. Press the RIGHT/ViviLink button or LEFT/LED button to scroll between the various menus for the current mode.

    Video Capture Mode The Video Capture Mode allows you to capture videos with your DVR. When the camera is first powered ON, the camera will be in Video Capture Mode. Taking a Video While in Video Capture Mode, use the LCD display to direct the camera at the scene you would like to capture.

Press the SET button to open the menus for the current mode. Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Scene menu. Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the menu options.

If your camera is set to a frequency that does not match your country‟s electric current, you may see flickering or waves on the images taken by your camera.

    Note: After RESETTING to the default settings, it is recommended to select your system Language, Date/Time and ViviLink for Photos and Videos. If you do not, the next time your camera is powered on, you will be prompted to define those settings. Video Playback Mode The Playback Mode allows you to review and edit photos and videos that you‟ve already taken with you camera.
