Epson L-6034VW Maintenance Guide Inspection Procedures Inspection Procedures This section explains inspection operations, and the order in which items should be inspected. Inspecting items in the recommend order can increase efficiency. Corona treater If the interior of the corona treater or substrate path channel are soiled or in an abnormal condition, it could have an adverse effect on the printing results.
Page 25
Epson L-6034VW Maintenance Guide Inspection Procedures Pull out the electrode cartridge and place it in a location where it will not interfere with cleaning the rollers. Do not place it upside down.
Page 26
Epson L-6034VW Maintenance Guide Inspection Procedures Clean the rollers. Wipe off any paper powder, dust, glue, corona discharge (black marks), and so on with the polyester/nylon knit woven fabric dampened with the alcohol for cleaning the rollers. When substrate is loaded, lift it up a little and wipe underneath.
Epson L-6034VW Maintenance Guide Inspection Procedures Close the unwinder roll cover, the corona treater top cover, and the front cover on the press. If you are going to clean the corona electrodes next, go to the appropriate item without closing the front cover of the corona treater.
