Precautions
On safety
Refer to the Reference Guide supplied with the speaker.
Important information such as the model name is located on the inner surface of the cap on the rear side of the
speaker.
On the power cord
The supplied AC power cord (mains lead) is designed exclusively for this speaker. It should not be used in
combination with any other devices.
Completely disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) from the AC outlet (mains) if it is not going to be used for an
extended period of time. When unplugging the AC power cord (mains lead), always grip the plug. Never pull the cord
itself.
On placement
To eliminate the risk of malfunctions, avoid the following locations when placing or leaving this speaker.
A place subject to high temperatures, such as under direct sunlight or lighting equipment, near a heat source, or
in a sauna
Inside a vehicle with the windows closed (especially in summertime)
A place exposed to hot air, such as from a hair dryer
A place subject to excessive dust
A place subject to strong vibration
Place this speaker on a flat, level surface. When placed on a sloped surface, the speaker may fall over or fall off the
surface due to its own vibration, resulting in injuries, malfunctions, or performance degradation.
Depending on the conditions where this speaker is placed, it may fall over or fall off the surface. Do not leave any
valuables near the speaker.
This speaker is not anti-magnetic. Keep objects susceptible to magnetism (recorded tapes, watches, cash cards and
credit cards with magnetic coding, etc.) away from the speaker. When you carry around the speaker, keep this in
mind as well.
If your skin remains in contact with the handle for a long time while the light is turned on, there is a risk of low-
temperature burns. To carry a speaker while it is powered on, turn the light (lighting function) off.

Other notes

Place the speaker in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat buildup and prolong the life of the speaker.
Do not splash water onto this product and the supplied accessories. Those are not waterproof.
