    2 seconds brings the speaker out of Battery Care mode and you hear voice guidance (Battery Care mode, OFF) from the speaker. You can place/bring the speaker into/out of Battery Care mode with the “Sony | Sound Connect” app as well. Connect the speaker to an AC outlet to charge it.

Even if the speaker is not connected to an AC outlet, its built-in battery can supply power to a USB device.

  • Page 73 Speakers that require the “Sony | Music Center” app to use the Party Connect function cannot connect to ULT TOWER 9 using the “Sony | Music Center” app. To connect, update the software of the speakers to the latest version, and you will be able to connect to ULT TOWER 9 using the speaker buttons.
  • Page 74 Connect a second speaker. The following operation is an example of connecting ULT TOWER 9 as the second speaker. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with the device you are using to connect other devices compatible with the Party Connect function.
