    Downloading Serato DJ The steps are for downloading Serato DJ. Launch your browser and access the following Serato DJ page. Serato DJ Lite: https://serato.com/dj/lite/downloads Serato DJ Pro: https://serato.com/dj/pro/downloads Click [Download] and follow the instructions to download Serato DJ.

    Installing Serato DJ Follow the steps below to install Serato DJ. The steps shown here are for installing Serato DJ Lite. For macOS Double-click the Serato DJ Lite file you downloaded. This launches the installer. Click [Continue]. Check the User License Agreement and click [Continue]. Click [Agree] if you agree with the terms. Click [Install] to begin the installation.
  • Page 6 Installing Serato DJ Once you see the screen below, click [Close]. This completes the installation. For Windows Right-click on the Serato DJ Lite folder that you downloaded, and select “Extract All”. This decompresses the folder. Double-click the decompressed file. This launches the installer. Check the User License Agreement.

    Setup * Before connecting the SP-404MK2 and Serato DJ, you must update the SP-404MK2 system program to version 5.00 or later (Operating requirements (p. 3)). Use a USB cable to connect the SP-404MK2 to the computer on which Serato DJ is installed.

    Overview of operations You can use the pads and knobs of the SP-404MK2 to control the Serato DJ software for DJ play (mixing songs). It’s possible to apply the effects from the SP-404MK2 to the Serato DJ audio for DJ play.
