    • Only perform that maintenance and repair work on this instrument which is described in the documentation. Follow the prescribed steps exactly when doing the work. Use only original spare parts from Testo. Batteries • Improper use of batteries may cause destruction of the batteries, injuries due to current surges, fire or the escape of chemicals.

    Dispose of faulty/spent batteries in accordance with the valid legal specifications. • At the end of its useful life, deliver the product to the separate collection point for electric and electronic devices (observe local regulations) or return the product to Testo for disposal.

    The testo Saveris multi-functional handle is equipped with a display and transmits the measurement data, which are generated with exchangeable probe measuring tips, to the testo Saveris Control Unit via an existing Bluetooth ® connection. The testo Saveris multi-functional handle meets all the standard compliance requirements relevant to food.

    3 Description of the instrument Probe measuring tips (not included in the scope of delivery) The testo Saveris multi-functional handle and the attached probe measuring tips together form a handy measuring instrument for fast temperature measurement and cooking oil testing.

    3 Sensor 3.3.2.2 With the testo Saveris cooking oil probe, the total polar materials (TPM value) is determined as a percentage. The TPM value enables a statement to be made on the ageing of the cooking oil due to the effects of heat.

    The reference value must be determined again if the type of oil or oil supplier changes. Where there are implausible readings, we recommend calibration or adjustment in testo reference oil (order number 0554 2650). For this, follow the instructions on the testo Saveris App.

    Mounting the wall bracket The wall bracket ensures the probe measuring tips are kept securely in place with and without the testo Saveris multi-functional handle. Please choose suitable mounting materials according to the required mounting location (not included in the scope of delivery).
