2. Mounting and Installation
2.1. Mounting
The device must not be held by the connected cables. Do not expose the device to rain or moisture. Do not
install the device in direct sunlight or in humid place.
 Mount the enclosed mounting brackets on the device.
 Mount the device on a flat surface. Use suitable screws.
2.2. Installation
The source (HDMI) may remain permanently connected to the port.
2.2.1. Connection to HDMI
 Connect the HDMI socket to the HDMI source.
2.2.2. RF output
 Connect the output (RF) to the existing distribution network. For this purpose, use a highly shielded coaxial
cable with an F connector plug.
 To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential bonding, use e.g. CFA earth
connection blocks.
2.2.3. Power Supply
 Connect the barrel connector of the power supply to the DC connector of the device and screw the
connector tight.
 Use only the supplied power supply unit and connect it to a corresponding mains outlet.
 Before carrying out maintenance operation or modification of the installation, the Device must be
disconnected.
