    Assembly Assembly BATTERY INSTALLATION For shipping purposes the battery is disconnected from the units. Remove and discard the packing dunnage underneath the battery and plastic cap covering the battery connector. Re-install the battery and be sure the latch is engaged, see page 19. FOLDING AND UNFOLDING Your Ally is equipped with a power folding feature.

Keeping the battery pack fully charged helps to extend battery life. Use the following guidelines to help keep your battery pack in optimum condition.
