C to PCI-X Enable/Disable
The JI

C1/2 pair of jumpers allows you
to connect the System Management
Bus to the PCI-X expansion slots. The
default setting is disabled. Both con-
nectors must be set the same (JI
for data and JI

C2 is for the clock). See
the table on right for jumper settings.

C to PCI-E Enable/Disable

The JI
C3/4 pair of jumpers allows you
to connect the System Management
Bus to the PCI-Express expansion
slots. The default setting is disabled.
Both connectors must be set the same

Watch Dog
JWD controls Watch Dog, a system
monitor that takes action when a soft-
ware application freezes the system.
Jumping pins 1-2 will cause WD to
reset the system if an application is
hung up. Jumping pins 2-3 will gen-
erate a non-maskable interrupt signal
for the application that is hung up.
See the table on the right for jumper
settings. Watch Dog must also be
enabled in BIOS.

Compact Flash Master/Slave

The JCF1 jumper allows you to assign
either master or slave status a compact
fl ash card installed in IDE1. See the
table on the right for jumper settings.
