Very little detergent:
The clothing does not wash well and may become
hard and grey. Brownish-grey stains may stain the
clothing. The heat calcifies.
A lot of detergent:
Excessive suds, harmful to the environment, reduce
the strength of the spin, producing poor washing and
rinsing results.
Compartment I
Detergent for pre-wash or starch.
Compartment II
Detergent for main wash, products for removing lime
from the water, softeners, bleach or stain removing
salt.
Compartment 2
Additives, e.g. conditioner (at most to the top of part
1).
i Softeners and other concentrated or very thick
additives should be diluted with a little water before
being added (this will prevent obstruction of the
siphon).
