LOADER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS Watch for this symbol. It identifies important safety messages. When you see this symbol, read the safety message carefully. GENERAL SAFETY 1. Never allow anyone to ride on any portion of the loader or tractor. The person may fall and be seriously or fatally injured. 2.
MAINTENANCE SAFETY 1. Do not disassemble or loosen hydraulic components when there is pressure within those components. Parts and fluid could fly out at a high velocity, resulting in serious injury. Always relieve the pressure in the hydraulic system. 2. Always use wood or cardboard as a backstop, and wear gloves and eye protection when searching the hydraulic system for leaks. Hydraulic fluid escaping under pressure can cause personal injury by penetrating the skin.
TRANSPORT SAFETY CONTINUED: 3. Never transport the loader with the bucket (or any other attachment) in the "DUMP" position. If the hydraulic system failed, or if the hydraulic lever was accidentally operated, the loader will drop, causing the bucket (or attachment) to dig into the ground. This may result in serious injury or death to the operator and serious damage to the tractor and loader, especially if the tractor is moving at a high rate of speed.
OPERATION SAFETY CONTINUED: 8. When raising a load, level attachment at higher lifting ranges to prevent material from falling on to tractor and/or operator. Falling material may cause serious injury or death to operator and serious damage to tractor and loader. 9.

Arrow "G" indicates location of grease fitting. IMPORTANT: The Ezee-A-Tach carrier frame for 2085 or 2085S loaders will not work if pinned on 2080 or 2080S loaders. Severe damage will occur to bucket cylinder if wrong carrier is installed. Page 6...

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED: ILL. 5 (MODEL 2085S-2085) 10. CONNECTING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM - MODEL 2085-2085S - See ILL. 5 IMPORTANT: CLEANLINESS IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION WHEN HOOKING UP HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS. HANDLE THE FITTINGS CAREFULLY. DO NOT REMOVE THE CAPS FROM THE PIPE AND HOSE ENDS UNTIL ALL FITTINGS ARE INSTALLED.
Page 12
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED: Model 2085 - See ILL 5. Connect one (1) 3/8" x 60" hydraulic hose, arrow 5, to the 3/8" tee, arrow 6, on the #2 oil line at the centre of the main frame. Then fasten the opposite end to the 3/8" x 90 degree swivel street elbow, arrow 1, on the lift cylinders.
Page 13
Model 2080S - See ILL. 6. Connect one (1) 3/8" x 63" hydraulic hose, arrow 3, to each side of 3/8" tee, arrow 4, on the #1 oil line. Then fasten the opposite end of each hose to the 3/8" male-female swivel, arrow 2, on each lift cylinder. Thread hose as shown.

Thread hose as shown. Model 2080S - See ILL. 6. Connect one (1) 3/8" x 32" hydraulic hose, arrow 5, to each side of 3/8" tee, arrow 6, on the #2 oil line. Then fasten the opposite end of each hose to the 3/8" x 90 degree swivel street elbow, arrow 1, on each lift cylinder.
Page 15
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED: CAUTION: BE SURE ALL HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS ARE COMPLETELY FILLED WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID TO AVOID LOADER FREE- FALL OR SUDDEN MOVEMENT. IF THE CYLINDERS ARE NOT COMPLETELY FILLED, THE LOADER WILL DROP. 12) Extend the lift cylinders. This will raise the loader into the mounting position, as shown in ILL.
OPERATION 1. LOADER MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS: TO MOUNT, THE LOADER MUST BE SITTING ON THE GROUND IN THE POSITION SHOWN ABOVE IN ILL. 8. If the loader is sitting flat on ground, as shown in ILL. 1 and 2, it can be raised into the position shown in ILL. 8, by attaching the hydraulic hoses to the tractor hydraulic system and extending the lift cylinders.
Page 17
OPERATION CONTINUED: 3. EZEE-A-TACH SYSTEM (OPTIONAL) The EZEE-A-TACH system allows the operator to quickly install (or remove) attachment onto (or from) loader. To install attachment proceed as follows: STEP 1: See ILL. 11. With the spring-loaded locking pins in the "UP" position and carrier tipped forward, drive the carrier between the brackets of the attachment.
Page 18
OPERATION CONTINUED: CAUTION: MOVE AND TURN THE TRACTOR AT LOW SPEEDS. OPERATING THE TRACTOR AT HIGH SPEEDS REDUCES TRACTOR STABILITY, CAUSING POSSIBLE TRACTOR UPSET WHICH COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO THE OPERATOR AND SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE LOADER AND TRACTOR. CAUTION: NEVER STAND UNDER ANY PART OF THE LOADER OR ATTACHMENT WHEN THE LOADER ARMS ARE IN A RAISED POSITION.
Page 19
Adjust level indicator, arrow 3, so top end is flush with top side of rod support, arrow 4. NOTE: Model 2080 and 2080S loader is shown in ILL. 14. The level indicator for Model 2085 and 2085S loaders are adjusted using the same procedure.
Page 20
MAINTENANCE and STORAGE 1. Check the hoses and oil lines periodically for signs of ruptures and leaks. CAUTION: ALWAYS USE A PIECE OF WOOD OR CARDBOARD AS A BACKSTOP AGAINST SPURTING FLUID. ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION WHEN SEARCHING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR LEAKS. HYDRAULIC FLUID ESCAPING UNDER PRESSURE CAN CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY BY PENETRATING SKIN.
