The warranty period begins when the equipment ships from the Comco facility and applies to the original owner only. Comco is not liable for damages from any cause or use of such equipment beyond the cost of repairing any defective parts.
DO NOT point the abrasive hose nozzle toward the window glass. The glass will quickly become frosted and will require replacement. √ DO NOT modify or alter the ProCenter in any way without first consulting Comco Inc. √ ENSURE that all operators are familiar with the safety operating procedures in this manual.
Comco ProCenter CTR100-1 Section 1: The ProCenter CTR100-1 The ProCenter model CTR100-1 is a combined blasting chamber and dust collection system. It should only be used with micro-abrasive blasting equipment and abrasive powders recommended for use with such blasting equipment.
CTR100-1 Comco ProCenter Installing the ProCenter Installing the Blower Motor Assembly – The Motor Assembly is removed prior to shipping to prevent damage. Before operating the ProCenter, the blower motor assembly must be installed on the unit. Remove the Blower Motor Assembly from its box. Position the assembly on the right hand side of the unit by inserting the fan through the large hole in the unit and aligning the mounting plate holes with the holes in the side of the unit.

CTR100-1 Comco ProCenter Operation ON/OFF Switch – This switch activates the lights and motor. It is to remain in the ON position whenever the blaster is being operated. The ProCenter can remain ON even when the blaster is not being used.
Comco ProCenter CTR100-1 Section 2: Maintenance Vibrate/Clean Filter – The ProCenter is equipped with a pneumatic vibrator that is used to vibrate or “shake” the air filter element. The vibrating action dislodges the powder particles from the filter element pleats and allows them to fall into the hopper. Normally this vibrating or cleaning of the filter only needs to be run periodically for approximately 2 minutes.

CTR100-1 Comco ProCenter Filter Replacement (cont’d) Remove the two filter clamping knobs. The amount of airborne dust can be reduced by rotating the filter 360° before removing it from the unit. Hold the filter element up and slide its clamping bar off the threaded bars.

Comco ProCenter CTR100-1 Emptying the Hopper – The hopper collects the abrasive powder and will require emptying periodically. To empty the hopper: Place a suitable container under the hopper gate, or secure a plastic bag around the hopper outlet with a strap or drawstring.

Comco ProCenter CTR100-1 Appendix A: Replacement Parts and Schematics Motor Replacement Instructions If motor replacement is required, it can be accomplished in two ways: The complete motor, impeller, and motor mounting plate assembly can be replaced as one unit, or the motor assembly can be disassembled and just the motor replaced.

ProCenter and possible injury to the operator. Contact Comco Technical Support for a replacement Impeller P/N CTR150. With the motor and plate still on their side, loosen the (4) 9/16” hex bolts.

Connect the ProCenter’s electrical plug into power outlet and turn on unit. The motor should run smoothly. If not, determine cause of problem and repair before operating unit. For assistance, contact Comco Technical Support. Note: Do not use the ProCenter if there is a noticeable vibration from the motor and impeller.
