    4. Installation 4.1 General operating instructions • Switch the device on or off using the standby button on the device or the remote control. • You can use the VOL+ button on the remote control or turn the knob on the device to increase the volume.

    4. Installation 4.4 Power connection Connect the mains adapter supplied to the corresponding connection on the back of the appliance. Now plug the mains adapter into a 230 V socket. Switch on the radio using the standby button on the remote control or on the device. The device switches on.

    4. Installation 4.9 Local radio setup Select your continent and then your country to access the Internet radio broadcasts of your local stations. Use the pq buttons on the remote control to make a selection. Use the OK button on the remote control or press the button on the device to confirm.

    4. Installation 4.10 WiFi / network selection In the next step, all available WiFi networks within range of the device will be displayed. Select the network you want to connect to and confirm with the OK button. Enter the WiFi password. Use the pq buttons on the remote control or the rotary knob on the device to select a character and use the u button to skip forwards.

    5. Settings 5.1 General operation 5.1.1 Menu button Press and hold the menu button on the device or remote control. This always takes you back to the main menu, regardless of the current device settings. Use the t u buttons or the rotary knob on the device to navigate through the main menu.

Settings 5.1.2 Back button Press the „Back“ button to go back one step at a time. 5.1.3 List button If you press the „List“ button in radio mode, an overview of the radio stations you have previously listened to is displayed. 5.1.4 Mode button You can use the Mode button to switch between the various operating modes of the device.

You can set the switch to ON or OFF to activate or deactivate the journaline text information for DAB+ reception.

    6. Operation 6.1 DAB+ Radio In this radio mode, you can receive digitally transmitted radio stations. Press the MENU button on the remote control or use the t u buttons on the device to select the DAB/DAB+ menu item. To confirm your selection, press the OK button on the remote control or the rotary knob on the device.

The radio now automatically searches for all receivable digital radio stations and saves them in a station list. The number on the right-hand side indicates the number of radio stations found.
