  • Page 2 EKOSOL 400 Solar Thermal System Controller Safety precautions and installation guidelines The controller is for solar thermal systems. Only a qualified person may install the controller. The controller can be connected only to a circuit with a PE contact. The solar thermal system must have an independent overheating safeguard system to protect against incorrect regulator or auxiliary equipment opera- tion.

    EKOSOL 400 Solar Thermal System Controller 1. Controller overview The solar thermal system controller is designed to control solar thermal system pumps (and another optional device) to ensure efficient domestic hot water (DHW) storage tank heating. By measuring the solar collector and storage tank temperatures, the controller can control solar collector pumps that transfer heat to the hot water storage tank.
