Hinged Rear Gate Adjustment The hinged rear gate allows easier cleaning, flail replacement, and general maintenance. The closed gate provides additional mulching, and the open gate allows for a more straightforward disposal of the mowed material. You can open the rear gate infinitely. The yellow stickers with a grease gun indicate where the essential grease nipples are. N O T I C E : • Ensure that the grease nipples are screwed in tightly. Occasionally, dried paint may cover the end of the nipple. Remove this by scraping the paint with a knife before injecting grease into these nipples.
Rotate the rotor shaft by hand and feel for any roughness in the bearings. Also, try to pull the shaft from side to side to see if any movement is found.
