This YELLOW symbol indicates All CAUTION notifications. Always adhere to this manual's safety instructions, regulations, and warnings. They are the recommen- dations of Victory Tractor Implements and several essential component manufacturers. If you ignore these regulations, there will be no warranty.
2.2.1 Introduction The machine design is such that safe use and maintenance are possible. Anyone who works with it must know the instructions and regulations stated in this manual. The owner ensures users know the Safety instructions, regulations, and observations. This distinction is because operators must meet other (safety) requirements than the technical service staff.
Ensure that all hoisting equipment, such as lifting straps, hooks, or ropes, is in a good state of repair and can safely bear the equipment's weight. Never bypass door interlocks or safety sensors and switches. Leaking chemicals, oil, or water on electrical equipment can result in severe damage or fire. Watch for hot parts on switched-off components and hot liquids in lines, pipes, and compartments to prevent burns.
Avoid prolonged contact with the liquid on the skin. In the event of contact, carefully cleanse the skin. Wear clothing that is free of this liquid. Also, be careful when eating and drinking during the operation. Avoid skin contact with liquids over 60°C or hot machine parts. Avoid eye contact;...
Avoid wearing loose clothing or jewelry that may catch and entangle equipment moving parts. Not Allowed Use It is not allowed to use Victory implements for other activities than described under ‘Intended use’ in the User Manual. Crash Protection System Crash protection for mower implements refers to a safety construction that tries to prevent accidents or damage to the mower in the event of a limited crash.
Safety decals that may be present on your tractor implement Your Victory tractor implement comes equipped with all necessary safety decals in place. The decals are designed to help you safely operate your implement. Watch, read, and follow instructions on all safety decals. Try to understand them entirely.

STEP 3: Ensure the swing arms at the joint of the mower’s body and the floating bracket are mounted correctly. STEP 4: Ensure the hydraulic swing cylinder is mounted as shown in the exploded view drawing in Chapter 8. Mount the cylinder using the pins (7) for the swing cylinder, as shown in the parts drawing. Secure these pins with mounting bolts M10x35.

Rear Roller Height: Raise and support the mower with suitable wooden blocks beside the skids. Untighten nuts (3 & 4) from the rear roller bearing block. Remove bolt (4) and move the rear roller to the desired height (two options). Fit and hand-tighten bolt and nut (4).
STEP 9: Grease the Rotor Shaft for the first time Add grease on both lubrication nipples for the rotor shaft bearing blocks. Ensure that the rotor shaft bearings are well-lubricated. STEP 10: Ensure the PTO protection cap is mounted to the gearbox of the mower. STEP 11: Ensure the drive belt tension is correct.
Park the tractor on a level surface. Slowly adjust the tractor’s three-point hitch until the tractor’s output shaft is level with the implement’s input shaft. Place the gear selector in the park mode, set the parking brake, shut the tractor off, and remove the switch key.
3.5.2 Checking the PTO Shaft’s Interference Slowly engage the tractor’s 3-Point hitch to lower the implement while checking for sufficient drawbar clearance. Move the drawbar ahead, aside, or remove it if required. Set the tractor’s 3-Point hitch lift height to keep the PTO shaft from exceeding the maximum allowable length and 15°...
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM The tractor’s hydraulic system supplies the mower swing and overturning movement system. Refer to your tractor manual for Hydraulic system instructions. You should know to quickly stop the tractor and mower movements in an emergency. Hydraulic Check Valve With this check valve, you can control the oil flow pressure in one direction in a hydraulic line.
OPERATION W A R N I N G S ! • Assemble the PTO shaft at an angle of no more than 15 degrees up or down (or sideways). • Do not allow the tractor engine or Flail mower to bog down or stall. This causes undue wear and tear on the mower and tractor.
This manual describes periodic maintenance that the owner can do. However, any care that requires special tools or technical experience should be left to Victory's authorized service technicians. Check the mower tines frequently. They must be sharp, free of nicks and cracks, and securely fastened.
W A R N I N G S F O R H Y D R A U L I C A L L Y D R I V E N S Y S T E M S • Hydraulic fluid is hot when the machine has just come to a stop. Allow the implement to cool down entirely before repairing the hydraulic system.
Service Period The recommended period is based on normal operating conditions. Severe or unusual conditions may require more frequent maintenance. Hours or Daily Maintenance Check all nuts and bolts in connection parts; replace them if required. Pump grease into each grease nipple three to five times. Clean the implement;...
Remove the shaft from the mower and put it on a workbench. Pull out both shaft parts. Use a screwdriver to pry the tabs out of the sleeves on each end. There are three tabs per guard. Pull the steel shaft out of the plastic tubular guard casing. Use a solvent to clean the male and female portions of the steel telescoping ends.
If the procedures in this section do not solve the problem, the owner should contact the Victory Service department for assistance. The Flail mower is designed to work on an unplowed and plowed field. It is a simple and reliable system that requires minimal maintenance.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE Essential Rules for Transport: Keep the machine in the shipping package before installation. Repaint parts where paint is worn or scratched to prevent rust. Protect packages from heat or direct sunlight. For transportation, always use the lower mounting frame. Use proper lifting equipment, a fork truck, or a hand pallet jack.
