    CAUTION: No user serviceable parts inside, refer servicing to qualified personnel only.  FRYETTE® amplifiers and loudspeaker systems are capable of producing very high sound pressure levels which may cause temporary or permanent hearing damage. Use care when setting and adjusting volume levels during use.

    All Tube 1-Watt amplifier with integrated reactive load: Powered by four dual triode tubes, the Valvulator GPDI/IR delivers 1 watt into a speaker cab of any impedance. The integrated reactive load is designed specifically for the GPDI One-Watt output stage and the output transformer driving it. This purpose-built load is automatically engaged when no speaker cable is connected to the Speaker Out jack.
  • Page 6 IT ALL STARTS HERE The Input Sensitivity of an amplifier, commonly referred to as GAIN, determines how much overdrive and sustain your guitar will produce. Tonal balance, which we refer to as VOICING determines how the amp will respond to your playing style and sound with a particular guitar. The VOICING SWITCH, GAIN I, GAIN II AND MORE/LESS SWITCH give you total control over VOICING and GAIN.

    FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS 10 11 13 14 POWER ON INDICATOR – Blinking indicates tube warm up. Solid light indicates Operate mode. 2. INPUT – Plug in your instrument (Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, etc) here. This sends signal to the first gain stage and rear panel unity gain DIRECT OUT.

    EMPHASIS – Adjusts the high frequency behavior of the CAB + MIC simulator along with the AIR/BITE SWITCH. Control range is +/- 12dB, center detent is flat 19. AIR / BITE – AIR creates a more open sound similar to an off-axis mic placement. BITE creates a more pronounced top end similar to an on-axis mic placement.
  • Page 9 REAMP IN – Connect interface output here to reamp a prerecorded safety track. Front panel input jack must be disconnected for this input to operate. TO AMP INPUT – Connect to external amp instrument input to enable External Amp mode. Front panel EXT AMP mode must be engaged for this output to operate.

    LIMITED WARRANTY Subject to the obligations and exclusions found below, this product is warranted by Steven Fryette Design, Inc., (herein SFD) against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the period of Five (5) Years from the date of purchase, with the exception of the tubes, fuses and speakers where applicable, which carry a 90-day warranty.
