The CONTROL HUB M18 SISH is the brain of the pipeline inspection system. The WIRELESS MONITOR M18SIM or tablet running the Milwaukee® pipeline inspection app connects to the CONTROL HUB M18 SISH to receive the recording video and captured pictures. Both are stored in the CONTROL HUB M18 SISH internal drive.

The WIRELESS MONITOR can connect to the PIPELINE INSPECTION SYSTEM via Wi-Fi or USB-C cable and will be immediately ready for use. In order to use a tablet or smartphone, the MILWAUKEE PIPELINE INSPECTION APP must fi rst be installed on that device.

2.9 Grounding post The grounding post must be used while using the LINE TRACE feature to trace push cable. The CONTROL HUB must be grounded to close the current loop to send out a good locate signal. Use the supplied grounding cable assembly with ground stake to ground the CONTROL HUB to earth.

3.3 Installing the backpack plate The PIPELINE INSPECTION REEL M18 SIC36 comes with a backpack mounting plate which allows the reel to be carried as a backpack. This is useful for transporting the small reel to and from the job site. This is extremely helpful for climbing stairs or ladders.
3.7 Using the PIPELINE INSPECTION REEL Check push cable for wear - visually inspect the push cable for cuts, kinks, and abrasions as it is retrieved back into the cable cage. If the jacket is cut or worn to the point that the yellow or white kevlar braid can be seen, then it is time to replace the push cable.
3.8 Camera head assembly Avoid touching the green circuit board or gold pins on the spring assembly or camera head with bare hands. Touching these will transfer oils from the fi ngers to these components, which may lead to premature corrosion. Wear clean, dry rubber gloves if possible.

3.10 Camera protective cover Protective Covers – are covers that fi t over the 25mm and 34mm camera heads. The protective covers are provided with all PIPELINE INSPECTION REEL systems or replacement camera heads. Skids - are devices that attach to the spring assembly to keep the camera head off the fl oor of the pipe and prevent the camera head from making direct contact with the pipe.
3.11 Camera skids There are two skids available for both the 25mm and 34mm camera heads.
