Disconnection of Battery WARNING It is recommended to disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal before proceeding with the installation.

Factory Head Unit Removal Apply masking tape to the trim in the locations indicated above on both sides of the centre console. Use a wide trim removal tool to dislodge the top panel above the fascia. Uncouple the connector and set aside.

Factory Head Unit Removal and Bracket Install Pull each of the vent assemblies out from the top edge adjacent to the fascia. Use a trim removal tool to pry from the top edge previously masked if necessary. Grasp tightly in the vent locations and pull outwards to remove the factory fascia. Disconnect the hazard key and instrument panel plug and unscrew the assembly from the back of the factory fascia.

Factory Head Unit Removal and Bracket Install Using a 10mm socket and ratchet, undo the 4 bolts securing the factory head unit in place. Remove the head unit from the infotainment cavity and unseat connectors from the factory head unit. Retain these 4 bolts. Secure the provided brackets to the i905 chassis with M5x8 CS philips screws ensuring they are tight and there is no play between the bracket and the unit.

GPS and DAB+ Antenna Installation Route the GPS wire behind the dashboard, place the GPS antenna on the metal backplate and mount the antenna faced upwards and as close to the top of the dashboard as possible. Remove the passenger side grab handle and A-pillar trim, route the DAB antenna wire and mount the antenna to the windscreen.

Install Black Box and Assemble Fascia Mount the head unit black box assembly to the dash using the 4 factory head unit bracket bolts. If any adjustment is needed, loosen the screws on the rear of the bracket and reposition accordingly. The factory hazard key panel can then be fixed to the rear of the Alpine fascia using the retained screws.

Install Black Box and Assemble Fascia Install the fascia assembly into the dash and connect the display data and power cable, key cable as well as the factory hazard key and instrument panel plug. Refit the HVAC vents and the top center cover panel, completing steps 1-3 in reverse. Test all functions and clean worked surfaces with a microfibre towel.
