1.0. Product description 1.1. Intended purpose and range of application ELBUR PB 636 IV is classified as a Medical Device Class 1 in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation 2017/745 on medical devices. It is developed, manufactured and tested according to the current state of technical knowledge and all relevant safety standards for medically used beds.

ELBUR PB 636 IV ATTENTION With every set of ELBUR Split Side Rails Instruction Manual of installation and use is supplied. Please refer to all instructions included in that document, when ELBUR Nursing Bes is configurated with them. The ELBUR Nursing Bed described in this manual is equipped with Full-length Side Rails, made of wooden bars with plastic end caps.

ELBUR PB 636 IV 1) Attach ELBUR Side Board - Model Standard [R1] to the external side of Mattress Support Platform, matching holes in them at the same time. Insert three M6x30 Button Head Screws through holes in ELBUR Side Boards and Mattress Support Platform from inside of MSP.

2) Assembly of Split Side Rails by putting threaded pins through holes in ELBUR Side Boards and Mattress Support Platform. Short Split Side Rail is assembled in the Head End of the ELBUR Nursing Bed. Long Split Side Rail is assembled in the Foot End of the ELBUR Nursing Bed.
4) Position the top of Lifting Pole so that it is above the centre of ELBUR nursing Bed. Rotate the Lifting Pole from side to side until the cutout locates in the bar in the vertical tube.

ELBUR PB 636 IV CAUTION Check all cable ties have been removed (there is one cable tie for attaching Back Rest to MSP Head Section and one cable tie for attaching Leg Rest Section to MSP Leg Section for transport).
Elbur cannot be liable for any damage or risk of damage if inappropriate cleaning or disinfectant agents are used. Observing the instructions described in this chapter will retain the usability of the ELBUR nursing bed for a long time to come and will keep its nice appearance.
