Intended purpose and range of application The ELBUR Care Bed PB 325 is classified as a Class 1 Medical Device in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation 2017/745 on medical devices. This bed is developed, manufactured, and tested according to the latest technical knowledge and all relevant safety standards for medically used beds.

    ELBUR Care Beds are not suitable for child patients or for use in hospitals. Remember to keep this instruction manual for future reference. Please ensure that the manual is available to users and carers at any time throughout the bed’s service life.

    ELBUR PB 325 Care Bed 6.0. Assembly WARNING Before commencing assembly of the ELBUR Care Bed, you must carefully read, understand and follow all instructions in this manual and on the bed labels. Assembly must be carried out by suitably trained and qualified personnel.

    ELBUR PB 325 Care Bed 6.1. Delivery and identification of parts ELBUR Care Bed PB 325 is delivered partially unassembled and mounted on the TLSU Transport Bracket, which simplifies transport and relocation at the place of delivery. The reliable packaging protects the beds from external damage, ensuring that the patient or user receives the bed in perfect condition.

To remove the lifting pole from the transport system bracket, cut the red cable tie that secures the lifting pole to the head frame for transport.

  • Page 29 ELBUR PB 325 Care Bed • The previously loosened TLSU transport system bracket allows for the easy removal of one bed end from the other, as well as the removal of the transport system bracket itself. • It is recommended to store the TLSU transport system for potential future disassembly, storage, and ease of transportation.
  • Page 30 ELBUR PB 325 Care Bed • Insert the foot section of the bed frame fully into the vertical profiles (inserts) of the bed end that has been laid flat on the ground. • The Mattress Support Platform (MSP) foot end is the part with only one actuator mounted for transport.
  • Page 31 ELBUR PB 325 Care Bed • Once fully inserted, use the two hand knobs from the bag with assembly parts screw them into the nuts on the bed frame's head end, to secure the connection between the MSP foot end and the front lift mechanism.

  • Page 40 ELBUR PB 325 Care Bed To ensure the ELBUR Full-length Side Rails are correctly assembled and securely installed, follow these steps: • Align the side holes of one wooden slat (marked with number 2) with the two lower fingers of the slider mounted on the bed (marked with number 4).

    Lifting Pole and its parts. Never use more than one Lifting Pole on the ELBUR Nursing Bed. If the Lifting Pole will not locate steadily across the bar in the one of the vertical tube and still rotates, the Lifting Pole cutout or mounting bar can be damaged.

    Castors have to be directed (oriented) along the bed before they are locked when the bed is in use. ELBUR PB 325 with the standard scissor lift (total brake for each castor) In the standard configuration, each of the four castors is equipped with a separate brake.

The adjustment should go seamlessly and in accordance to markings on the front side of the handset, indicating specific functions.

    Elbur cannot be liable for any damage or risk of damage if inappropriate cleaning or disinfectant agents are used. Observing the instructions described in this chapter will retain the usability of the ELBUR Nursing Bed for a long time to come and will keep its nice appearance. Cleaning and disinfecting procedure: 1) Empty the nursing bed - remove the mattress and all easily detachable accessories.
