Indicator Name Purpose Transmitting These indicators show when the contact’s radio is transmitting or receiving a transmission. Receiving Request Callback Sends a callback request to a mobile radio. If the callback request does not reach the radio, the icon changes to indicate that the radio user did not receive the request. Callback Request Fail Remote Monitor OFF This feature enables the dispatcher to monitor a mobile radio by remotely activating its microphone. This may be useful for example to listen in on a radio operator in the field who is unable to call for help on the radio. For NEXEDGE radios, Remote Monitor does not operate as a toggle. Remote Monitor ON For Hytera radios, Remote Monitor cannot be toggled off. After you turn Remote Monitor on, the radio will turn it off automatically after 10 seconds. Radio Disabled This feature enables the dispatcher to remotely disable a mobile radio. This may be useful for example if an unauthorized person has taken control of the mobile radio. Radio Enabled Radio Status Click to send a radio status request to a mobile radio. A response, if any, is displayed next to this icon.
