    AX-1100R/S MICROWAVE MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE 1. Requirements: . Microwave leakage limit (Power density limit): The power density of microwave radiation emitted by a microwave oven should not exceed mW/cm at any point 5cm or more from the external surface of the oven, measured prior to acquisition by a purchaser, and thereafter (through the useful life of the oven), 5 mW/cm at any point 5cm or more from the external surface of the oven.

    AX-1100R/S PRECAUTIONS FOR USING LEAD-FREE SOLDER Employing lead-free solder The "Main PWB" of this model employs lead -free solder. This is indicated by the "LF" symbol printed on the PWB and in the service manu - al. The suffix letter indicates the alloy type of the solder.

    AX-1100R/S GENERAL INFORMATION GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This oven is equipped with a three prong grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall receptacle that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances.

    AX-1100R/S 2. An insufficient amount of water in the water tank may cause an undesired result. 3. We recommend that you empty the water tank every time after cooking. Do not leave the water tank filled with water in the oven over a day.

When steaming operations Turning the heater ON generates steam.

Removing the water tank discharges remained water in the tank joint to the drip tray. 4. When operating the oven in order to discharge remained water (“Drain water” mode). (Remained water in the tank joint, tube (pump motor) and engine unit assembly are discharged.)

Many of the possible causes of trouble will require that a specific test be performed. These tests are given a procedure letter which will be found in the “Test Procedure”...

    AX-1100R/S DOOR IS OPENED OR STOP KEY IS PRESSED DURING COOKING.OR SENSOR DOES NOT DETECT VAPOR. TEMPERATURE OF OVEN IS TOO HIGH IN MICROWAVE COOOKING. TEMPERATURE OF ENGINE UNIT IS TOO HIGH. WATER IS FROZEN IN WATER TANK OR TUBE PUMP ASSEMBLY.

    AX-1100R/S TEST PROCEDURES A: MAGNETRON TEST NEVER TOUCH ANY PART IN THE CIRCUIT WITH YOUR HAND OR AN INSULATED TOOL WHILE THE OVEN IS IN OPERATION. . Disconnect the power supply cord, and then remove outer case. 2. Open the door and block it open.

    AX-1100R/S C: HIGH VOLTAGE RECTIFIER TEST . Disconnect the power supply cord, and then remove outer case. 2. Open the door and block it open. 3. Discharge high voltage capacitor. 4. Isolate the high voltage rectifier assembly from the HV circuit. The high voltage rectifier can be tested using an ohmmeter set to its highest range.
  • Page 23 AX-1100R/S 4. Isolate the switch and connect the ohmmeter to the common (COM.) and normally open (NO) terminal of the switch. The meter should indicate an open circuit with the door open and a closed circuit with the door closed. And then connect the ohmmeter to the common (COM.) and normally open (NC) terminal of the switch.

Check the performance of the tube pump assembly.     AX-1100R/S of outer case cabinet. 7. Slide the entire case back about 3 cm to free it from retaining clips on the cavity face plate. 8. Lift the entire outer case cabinet from the oven. 9. Discharge the H.V. capacitor before carrying out any further work.

    AX-1100R/S 7. Disconnect the wire leads from the antenna motor. 8. Remove the two (2) screws holding the antenna motor to the TT motor mount angle. 9. Now, the antenna motor is free. REINSTALLATION . Reinstall the antenna motor by locating shaft onto the shaft assembly to the TT mount angle with the two (2) screws.

    AX-1100R/S 6. Remove the bottom plate cover from the bottom plate. 7. Disconnect the wire leads from the pump motor. 8. Remove the one () screw holding the tube pump assembly to the bottom plate. 9. Release the two (2) tabs of the tube pump assembly from the holes of the bottom plate.
  • Page 40 AX-1100R/S 7. Remove the tank cover support A from the tank cover. 8. Remove the tank joint from the tank cover. CAUTION: WHEN THE JOINT TUBE, TANK JOINT OR PUMP TUBE L IS REMOVED FROM THE ENGINE UNIT OR TANK JOINT, RE - MAINED WATER MAY BLEED FROM THE ENGINE UNIT.

    AX-1100R/S 3. Discharge high voltage capacitor. 4. Remove the engine unit, referring to “ENGIEN UNIT REMOVAL”. 5. Remove the one () screw holding the thermistor (engine) to the engine unit assembly. 6. Remove the thermistor (engine) from the engine unit.

    AX-1100R/S POWER SUPPLY CORD REPLACEMENT REMOVAL . Disconnect the power supply cord, and then remove Power Supply Cord outer case. 2. Open the door and block it open. Screw 3. Discharge high voltage capacitor. Back Plate 4. Remove the one () screw holding the green wire to Green Wire the back plate.
