NOTE: Do not assign the same address to units of the same type. NOTE: A maximum of 30 units/modules may be installed in a 7200 Series system. A maximum of 15 active units/modules of one type may be installed. For quantities of unsupervised Keyboard Display Units, consult the 7200 Series Installation/Operating Manual, P/N 9000-0176.
NOTE: Each group of five (5) ALUs require a PSU, SCU or DIU. Each DSU requires a transformer (XFMR). Interconnect to a PSU is critical for proper operation. Systems containing Class A, Style D, EZU/EZD modules should be mounted in D cabinets due to space. •...

7200 Series. • Apply AC power to the 7200 Series. At this time, the system initialization sequence will occur for approximately 10 seconds. After the initializing period, the “AC POWER” and “DC POWER” LEDs will light. This will be followed by a system trouble and “BATTERY FAULT” indication, since the batteries are not yet connected.

Rectify any faults indicated and confirm unit/modules to the list generated in Step 4. If a unit is missing, confirm the address setting and refer to the Troubleshooting Guide, P/N 9000-0185. • If a computer emulation program is in use, establish two-way communication with the 7200 Series by typing: P4 44. [Enter] (Insert a space between the first and second “4".) The system will respond with the answerback:...

075 A per lamp plus .007 A is required. An FCI model CLP control panel may be used as a remote power source. Be sure to connect the negative ( - ) terminal of the CLP to PSU Terminal TB1-3 or TB1-4, and cut Jumper RJ2 on the CLP control panel so the ground fault detection will be performed by the 7200 Series system.

• The 7200 Series provides a Dual-mode Walk Test program which may be used to test the alarm/ supervision status of each initiating device connected to the system. By following the proper proce- dures, The user may select various zones to be walk tested, with or without sounding the notification appliances.
Dual Mode Walk Test Procedure The Dual-mode Zone Walk Test program of the 7200 Series control has two (2) options: • Audible Mode - The user in the field can test with sounding of the notification appliances. • Silent Mode - The user in the field can test without sounding the notification appliances.
G) Select the zones/signaling line (loop) circuits to be Walk Tested by moving the appropriate zone/signaling line circuit disconnect switches to the “DISCONNECT” position. H) If the Audible Walk Test mode is selected, placing initiating devices in each zone into alarm condition will cause four (4) pulses on the notification appliances.
Hold the “RESET” button down for five (5) seconds until the display shows “rS”, then release the “RESET” button. The panel returns to normal, and the display returns to blinking dots. Step 23 - Fire Drill Procedure The Fire Drill Program of the 7200 Series control is available in two modes: MODE DISPLAY CODE...
