    We do not recommend the use of overhead or outside aerial wiring due to the increased susceptibility to nearby lightning strikes. Consult with the FCI Technical Support Department if any problems are anticipated or encountered.

    The Sub Loop Module (SLM), provides an address for a group of devices; it can support normally open (N.O.) contact devices and up to six, two-wire UL Listed, FCI approved compatible smoke detectors mounted on conventional bases.

    CAUTION: This equipment is sensitive to static electricity. It may be damaged if not properly handled. Use an ESD (electrostatic discharge) field service kit (FCI Part No. 4100-0001), consisting of a grounding wrist strap and anti-static mat, when handling this equipment. Transport this unit in a static-shielding bag.
