    Cleaning and Maintaining Before cleaning the indoor unit, be sure to turn off the auxiliary power switch. Cleaning the air filter For the best performance from your air conditioner, clean it periodically. When cleaning, make sure to unplug from the unit for user’s safety. When cleaning the filter, make sure to unplug the power from the unit.
