- Page 7 Selecting your Modes, Heating, Cooling or OFF Mode Selec ng your Mode Off Heat Cool Auto The mode func on bar allows you to select different modes for your SMT-850 'Halo' thermostat. Heat Only Mode ac vates your hea ng system to maintain your desired warmth.

Temperature Control Adjus ng Temperature Press the up or down bu on next to the Mode (Hea ng Cooling ) you want to adjust. Depending on how your SMT-850 Halo was configured by your installer, a fly-out ribbon may Cool Set appear, asking you to choose how long this new temperature should remain before automa cally returning to its previous value. - Page 9 Schedule - Residential Mode Scheduling with the SMT-850 Halo Thermostat If your SMT-850 Halo thermostat is set up by your installer, the residen al scheduling func on may be enabled. This allows the thermostat to automa cally adjust your home temperature according to your lifestyle. The SMT- 850 Halo can preheat or precool your home before you wake up in the morning.

This allows the thermostat to automa cally turn your office HVAC system on and off automa cally based on occupancy a endance mes.

Zone Control The Halo can be op onally configured to direct the flow of condi oned air in your home or office as well as / or change the loca on of where were the Halo measures temperature. Not all func ons described may be enabled in you Halo. -

Installer Options Menu The Halo Installer Op ons Menu allows you to customize the thermostat's opera ons and func ons, tailoring its performance to the specific needs of the user or project. However, it is strongly advised Installer that you do not enter this menu or make any changes unless you are sure of your ac ons. Unauthorized adjustments could result in system damage not covered by the warranty. -
