    First Use Operating the Battery Door Unlock the battery door by sliding the locking latch left with your thumb or nail as shown in the figure below and release. The battery door should unlock and spring open. Installing the Battery Insert the included lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment with the metal contacts facing the inside of the camcorder as shown in the figure below.

    Installing the Memory Card Insert the MicroSD memory card into the battery compartment with the metal contact facing up as shown in the figure below. Push the memory card in until you hear an audible click. The MicroSD memory card can only be inserted in one way. Do not force the card in if it will not go in smoothly.

    Charging the Battery Connect your camcorder to the included AC adaptor with the included USB-C cable. Insert the small end of the USB plug into the camcorder’s USB-C port under the protective door as shown in the figure below. Plug the larger end into the included AC adaptor.

    Capture 2.2 Capturing a Video When you power on the camcorder, it’s ready to go in Video mode by default. Just press the VIDEO Record button once to start recording your video clip instantly. 1. Hold the camcorder with both hands. Point the lens toward the object you want to record and then frame it with the LCD monitor.

    2.3 Capturing a Photo When you power on the camcorder, it’s ready to go in Video mode by default. To enter PHOTO mode, simply press the PHOTO Capture button to quickly switch modes. 1.     2.4 Using the LED Lighting The MN4K35NV comes equipped with built-in supplemental lighting for any scene. The White LED Video Light is perfect for low-light environments, adding extra illumination when needed. For very dark or completely dark scenes, the Infrared LED Night Vision ensures clear recording.

    2.5 Using the Zoom Function The MN4K35NV is equipped with an 18x digital zoom function. Digital zoom enlarges your image electronically by cropping and enlarging the central part of the photograph. To operate the zoom function, push and hold the T(ele) button lever to zoom in closer to the subject, and push and hold the W(ide) button lever to zoom out away from the subject.

    2.7 Remote Control The MN4K35NV includes a remote control for convenient operation from a distance. For best results, point the remote towards the receiver on the front of the camcorder. Ensure there are no objects between the remote and the camcorder, as they can block the signal.

For example, when in Photo mode, the setting menu will only display the settings relevant to Photo mode. When in Video mode, the settings menu will only display the settings relevant to Video mode.

    5.0 Loop Video Capture Mode Loop Recording is a video recording mode in which you can set a maximum duration for each video clip recorded. Once you press the VIDEO Record button, the camcorder will continue recording up until the preset configured duration and will then automatically begin recording a new video clip.

    12.0 General System Settings To access the camcorder’s general system settings, press the MENU button and then press the MODE button to switch to General Settings. The setting menu is separated by two submenus. The top most icon represents settings relevant to video/photo capture.     13.0 Wi-Fi The MN4K35NV includes a Wi-Fi feature that will allow you to connect your camcorder to your smartphone. When connecting your camcorder to your smartphone, you can utilize your smartphone as a remote viewfinder with live viewing to fully control your camcorder and transfer all captured photos and videos to your smartphone.

If your smartphone is having trouble finding the camcorder’s Wi-Fi name, press the UP button to exit the Wi-Fi status screen and try re-enabling the Wi-Fi setting.
