Olympus Server and I/O Quick Start Guide
Power On and Standby
1) Position the unit(s) on a stable surface
2) Connect the mains power cable
3) Power the unit on using the rear panel rocker switch
4) Check System and XDMI voltage in the BMS mobile app
5) Set the desired charging cycle in the BMS mobile app
If the server system voltage is above 14V and server or I/O XDMI voltage above 12V, you can start the server
by pressing the on/standby button on the underside of the front panel. If the voltages are lower, please wait
until the batteries are charged more fully.
Always leave the units connected to mains power with the rear power switches in the 'on' position. For day-to-
day use, only the server's front panel standby button should be used. The batteries are still charged during
sleep. If the unit is not connected to the mains power, the batteries will deplete, even when the main power
switch is set to 'off'.
The Olympus server is fully started when the middle front panel LED stops blinking and remains solidly lit. The
I/O starts immediately. If the server does not start, make sure that the System battery voltage is above 14V.
Aftermarket Footer Placement
Use aftermarket footers only in the intended recesses in the four corners. These have been machined such
that they can safely support the weight. Placing footers directly under the bottom panel may cause internal
structural damage, especially when used under the I/O with the server stacked on top.
Do not restrict free air flow around and underneath the unit
The Olympus Server is convection cooled. To ensure proper cooling, please do not operate when placed inside
the flight case or on a carpet.
BMS App, Battery Charge Cycle, Battery Voltage
The Bluetooth Pairing code is 000000. Do not use the units when the System voltage is under 14 volts or the
XDMI battery voltage is under 12 volts. The BMS mobile app is not required for day-to-day use. But if desired,
you can change the charge cycle and check the battery voltage. We suggest setting the charging cycle for the
XDMI battery such, that they are fully charged just before the start of your usual listening session. That way,
the batteries will always have an ideal voltage and charge. Please note that USB drives may draw more current
than the charging circuit can provide, so do not connect them unless the batteries are sufficiently charged.
Do not use USB with XDMI
For the best sound quality when using the XDMI output, do not connect any USB devices.
