    2. INITIALIZE OPERATION 1) Hard SW Init-SW: located on the main board (on the right). Press this switch for about one second and then release it so that the register enters the Init state. 2) Initialize 1. Turn off the power and remove the battery. 2.

    5-6. PRINTER CIRCUIT The printer circuit is as follows: Printing data is clocked serial from the I/O controller. Printings on signal are P40, P41, P124, P125, P126 and P127. Temperature sensor of printer head is connected to P11 and P12. Motor control ICs are as IC26 and IC33.

    6. DIAGNOSTIC OPERATION 6-1. To start the diagnostic program 1. Turn the power on. 2. Press the INT switch. 3. The unit now waits for “INIT CODE” input. Press the numbers <99990000> and then press <#2> key. 4. The diagnostic program boots. * Once the unit enters the diagnostic mode, it cannot leave it.

  • Page 31 [ 4 ] FISCAL ROM WRITE test [Function] Write test for Fiscal Rom is performed. This test writes into the test area of the Fiscal Rom and can be done up to 16 times. [Operation] ΜΕΡΙΚΟ ΣΥΝΟΛΟ Operation : [7 segment display] Counter in progress A counter is displayed in the 7 segments to indicate that Fiscal Rom test is in progress as well as the number of times left in which the test can be done.

    7. ERROR CODE 7-1. ERROR CODE LIST This section describes what to do when you have problems with operation. When an error occurs Errors are indicated by an error codes. When this happens, you can usually find out what the problem is as illustrated below.
