RADIO OPERATION
AM/FM
LED INDICATORS
1. Press
RADIO
!ON/OFF! to turn
radio on; press again
to
turn
radio
off.

desired
broadcast
band.
Band
LED, located
at the
left
of
the dial
scale area,
will
light
to
indicate band selected.

Use !TUNING!
CONTROL
to
tune
to
desired station.

controls for preferred volume and
tonal
quality.
ANTENNAS
AM -
A built-in ferrite
rod
antenna is provided for AM reception

FM -
The power cord acts as your FM antenna.
A wrapped power cord may be
adequate
for strong local FM
reception, however

for
best
recep

tion, the
power cord should
be
stretched out to its full length
.
Changing position of the power cord
may improve reception.

APPLIANCE OUTLET:
The
APPLIANCE OUTLET push buttons
enable
you
to
operate
the
appliance outlet in one of three
ways:

_A_U-TO-lautomatically turns on the outlet at a preset
time.
!
EVER ON I

OFF
I
can be set so the outlet is always on and
ready
to_activate any appliance
you may plug
in;
or it can be set so the outlet is always off until you switch 11 on.
The outlet is
rated
at 1500 watts maximum
for
appliances
and
600 watts
maximum
for
lamps and

Products having higher operating ratings must not be used

CAUTION
:
Extension
cords and/or multiple p lug adapters of any
type must
not be used
on either the appliance outlet or
the
radio 's
line
cord.
