Grounding provides improved surge protection (up to 2 kV, 2 kA to ground (8/20 µs pulse)). The grounding wire is not included in the box. Bosch recommends the use of a grounding wire with a ring terminal. The ring terminal must not have a thickness greater than 2 mm (0.01 in.).
