Meter Activation and Battery Installation

1. Use a pen tip to press the release point on the cover and at the same time slide the cover to open.
2. Install both batteries at the same time. Check to make sure batteries are in the correct positions.
3. Slide the battery cover back until it snaps into place.
4. The McKesson Quintet AC blood glucose meter will enter self-testing mode.
5. Press any button to exit the self-test and enter the Setting Mode.
6. Set the time and date when the batteries are replaced, See Chapter "Setting Up the Meter: Setting the
Time, Volume and Date". Test results are still stored in the memory.
