You can set the backlight mode of your phone.

1 to set your phone to follow the normal backlight setting, or 2 to let the backlight be controlled by the Java™ application.
If you set your phone to follow the normal backlight setting, the current power save settings will be active (see "Power saving (M15)" on page 25).
When the software is not running, the backlight operation depends on your phone's backlight settings.
Permits/prohibits the selected software to connect to the network or displays the confirmation message every time
you start the selected software.
Enables or disables the automatic start of a complying Java™ application.
