5. (4) 3/8" X 1" Hex Bolt

** Hardware included with rim to attach rim and
backboard to extension arm.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Set the pole to the depth shown in the
illustration. Concrete footing details may vary
due to local soil conditions.
2. Position the extension arm (B) to the post (A)
with the bottom of the mounting plates 8'2"
from the surface. Connect the extension arm
to the post with the back plate using four 5/8"
hex bolts with eight flat washers and four
locknuts. See Figure 1.
3. Attach the backboard and rim to the
extension arm using the provided rim
hardware.
4. Attach the adjustable sway braces to the
backboard using two 3/8" X 1" hex bolts, four
washers, and two lock nuts.
5. Attach the adjustable sway braces to the
extension arm using two 3/8" X 1.5" hex bolts,
four washers, and two locknuts. Once the
adjustable sway braces are firmly in place,
securely tighten the set screws.
