It provides col- orists, stylists, designers, and color technicians with the five most common types of light- ing: Daylight, incandescent, office (CWF and TL84) and ultraviolet illumination. BYK-Gardner GmbH byko-spectra standard 5.4 Detecting “Metamerism” When two color samples match under one light source, but not under one or more other light sources, the “color-match” is metameric. This means that the colorant formulation in one sample differs from the formulation in the other, resulting in differing spectral reflect- ance factor curve shapes.

Cleaning The viewing area of the byko-spectra should be kept clean and free of samples, notices, etc. To clean the neutral gray surface, use a soft, damp cloth with a mild soap or deter- gent.

byko-spectra standard BYK-Gardner GmbH 2 Einleitung Die byko-spectra standard ist eine kostengünstige Lichtkabine mit 5 Lichtarten. Sie bietet Coloristen, Stylisten, Designern und Farbtechnikern die fünf gängigsten Beleuchtungsar- ten: Tageslicht, Glühlampe, Bürobeleuchtung (CWF und TL84) und ultraviolette Beleuch- tung. Diese sollte Ihnen das Zusammenbauen erleichtern. Schritt 1 Nehmen Sie das linke Seitenteil (A) und befestigen Sie es an einer Seite der Betrachtungs- fläche (C), wie oben gezeigt.
