Preferred Data SIM
•
When you insert 2x SIM cards, you can select either SIM1 or SIM2 as the preferred data
SIM, the other would be the preferred voice SIM. This is a typical use case of DSDS -
one SIM is for data, the other for voice.
Network Selection
•
This setting will allow you to automatically or manually select your desired network. If
you select AUTO, the device will select the network with the strongest signal, and if you
pick MANUAL, you will be able to self-select from the networks the device detects.
Network Type
•
This setting will allow you to select the type of network your device will search for. Your
options are:
o 4G (recommended and default)
o 3G
o 2G
BLUETOOTH
(Main Menu > Settings > Bluetooth)
Bluetooth
•
This setting will turn Bluetooth on or off. With this setting OFF, you will not have any
Bluetooth connections available.
Bluetooth Visibility
•
This setting will permit your device to show up on other Bluetooth available lists, allowing
you to connect with them.
Paired Device
•
This setting will allow you to pair a new Bluetooth device to your Sonim XP100. Select
ADD and a list of available devices will be listed on your screen. Highlight the device you
would like to add and follow the on-screen instructions.
Transferring Files
•
When you get 2x XP100 paired, a file can be transferred from one device to the other.
Device Name
•
This setting will display the name of your device that will show up in Bluetooth search
lists. You may change your device name here. Your device name can be up to 20
characters.
Bluetooth File Storage
•
This setting will allow you to store your Bluetooth files. If you do not have a microSD
card, your only option will be your Phone.
