Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 SONIM SETUP 1. Select Start Provisioning. 2. If you have been provided a QR code, you can scan it and follow instructions for provisioning. Otherwise, press Skip. 3. If you are transferring personal contacts, select OK.

5. In the Emergency contacts screen, either select an existing contact or add a contact. 6. Set up wi-fi calling. Select OK and follow on-screen instructions. 7. Sonim Setup is complete. Instructions will be displayed for PTT Setup. Press Done. Page 7 of 17...
Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 PTT SETUP Before beginning setup, have available something to write on. You will need it later in the process. There are four PTT applications: Cockpit, Linc PTT, Linc Map, and Linc Msg. They can be moved to the Home screen for easier access.

Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 3. In the popup, choose the phone number and select Call. → 4. You will hear a recorded message with the passcode. Turn on the speaker if necessary. Listen for the number and write it down.

Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 7. Press Sign in. 8. Your phone number will be in the first blank. In the Password blank, type in the initial password you received in the voice call. Press Sign In or the forward arrow.

Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 10. Select + Create new list of groups. Note: A group must be in a list before it will appear in your Linc PTT contacts. 11. All groups pushed to you are listed. You can select up to 10 for the list.

Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 LINC PTT SETUP 1. Select the Linc PTT application from the home screen or the applications list. 2. In the next screen, Allow Linc PTT access to location, audio, files, and phone. 3. Read and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).

Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 CHANGING THE PASSWORD You should change your PTT password to a personal selection as soon as possible. You may use the PTT Passcode website or the Cockpit sign-in page. (For the XP5s, the website option is recommended.)

Quick Start Guide – XP8 7/18/2018 2. On the next screen, sign in with your 10- digit phone number and current password 3. Verify account information and select Click to change password. 4. In Change Password screen, enter current password then create and confirm a new password.
