Dell - Latitude™ D620 - Printer-Friendly Format
The coin battery (also known as the reserve battery) is used to retain system information when no other power source
(such as the AC adapter or main battery) is connected. This prevents the BIOS from losing any configuration changes.
The coin battery on the Latitude™ D620 is located underneath the keyboard. It may be difficult to remove since is it in a
recessed location. You must gently pry up the plastics that sit over the top of the battery to gain access to remove the
battery.
