Removing the battery on the Latitude D620 can be a bit tricky. Follow these steps to remove any of the batteries available
for this system:
1. Slide the release latches away from the center of the battery. These latches lock in place and do not need to be
held to release the battery.
2. Slide the battery itself toward the front edge of the system. It slides about a half inch. Do not try to lift the battery out
of the bay; it cannot do so until it is free of the latches.
3. Once you have slid the battery forward, you can now lift it clear of the system.
