Facilities in the vicinity of the current car position
You can also specify a destination address by selecting a special facility in vicinity of
the current car position.
Select "Info on car pos." in the destination input menu.

A list of categories specifying the special facilities is presented.
Select the desired category.
:
A list of special facilities situated around the
current car position is presented. Furthermore the
distance and the direction to the respective facility
is shown.
Continue as described on the previous page.
Note:
A list of facilities from "Info on car pos." is always shown, even if no facility of the
chosen category is located directly at the car position.
The displayed facilities are presented in order related to the distance from the current
car position. The nearest facility is placed on the top of the list.

Destination input by GPS co-ordinates

If you know the GPS co-ordinates of the destination
you can enter them directly.
Select "Destination input" from the main
control menu.
Select "GPS co-ordinates" from the
"Destination input" menu.

The input menu for GPS co-ordinates is shown.
Mark the desired co-ordinate with the cursor keys. Then press OK.
Adjust the desired value for degrees, minutes and seconds. Confirm the destination
input with the "OK" option.

The navigation system now compares the entered GPS co-ordinates with the data
stored on the map CD and plans a route.
Notes:
If the destination is beyond the digitized area, the system guides you over digitized
roads as long as possible. Then the system shows you the direction and the distance to
the destination.
If the entered GPS co-ordinates are beyond the boundaries of the map CD inserted,
the system shows an error message.
