Advantages of the hands-free unit In addition to the typical advantages of hands-free units, the VDO Dayton hands free system offers the following advantages among others: • comfortable operation of the mobile phone via the clearly legible display screen and the navigation system IR remote control.

    OPERATION General information Mobile phones The hands free system is only suitable for use with mobile phones specified on the phone cradle or phone cradle packaging. Before inserting a mobile phone, remove the protective cap for the antenna connection at the phone and if necessary the protective sleeve. Do not attempt to insert other mobile phones into the holder.

When drilling holes, be careful not to damage hidden cable harnesses, the fuel tank and fuel lines. Never drill into supporting or safety-relevant body parts.
