INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE APPLIANCE

3 steps for optimum results:

1. Pour in the milk (fig 1).
   
2. Switch on the milk frother (fig 2).
   
3. Switch off the milk frother and serve. (fig 3).
   

When foaming is complete, the device keeps the milk warm. Please press the ON/OFF button before serving.

CLEANING

DO NOT CLEAN THE APPLIANCE IN A DISHWASHER
The non-stick coating on the inside of the jug means that you can clean it easily. Here's how to go about it:

1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the stirrer from the jug (fig 4).
   
3. Clean the jug using warm water and washing-up liquid with a sponge or a non-abrasive cleaner (fig 5).
   
4. Never immerse the appliance in water or put it under running water (fig 6).
   
5. Dry the appliance.

Remember to fit the stirrer again, ensuring that it is clipped into place.

• The appliance comes with a separate power base. It will power off automatically once the appliance is removed from the base.

• Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged. The power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid danger.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the appliance as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.

  The appliance releases steam which can cause burns.
• Do not place the appliance on a hot surface such as a hob or use it near other sources of heat.
• Do not pull on the power cord to unplug it.
• Do not let the power cord dangle from a table or a work top.
• The power cord must never be close to or in contact with hot parts of the appliance, close to sources of heat or resting on sharp edges.
• Do not leave your hand on the power cord or the hot parts of the appliance.
• Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not wash the appliance in the dishwasher.
• Do not use the appliance for cooking anything other than milk.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
• Always hold the appliance by the handle during operation and until it has cooled down.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• 
  Ensure that the appliance is switched off before removing it from its stand.
• 
  Be careful to avoid any spillage on the connector during cleaning, filling or pouring.
• 
  Risks of injuries if you don't use this appliance correctly.
• 
  The heating element surface is subjected to residual heat after use.
• 
  To preserve and prevent scratching the coating, we recommend that you use plastic utensils. The use of metal accessories in your appliance risks damaging the milk frother's non-stick coating.
• Refer to the instructions for assembling the appliance and any accessories. Refer to the instructions for cleaning and maintaining your appliance.
