    This guide was written under Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm for the Raspberry Pi 4 and 5. It has not been checked with newer operating systems or hardware. 1. GENERAL INFORMATION Dear customer, Thank you for choosing our product. In the following, we will show you what you need to bear in mind during commissioning and use.
  • Page 3 2. ASSEMBLY OF DISPLAY 2.1 Assembling the display First remove the display, the stand and the base neck of the display. Insert the metal rectangle of the base neck into the appropriate guide on the display housing (near the USB label). Fix the base neck in place by screwing down the round fixing washer located directly in front of the metal rectangle.
  • Page 4 2.2 Mounting a Raspberry Pi If you want to operate the display with a Raspberry Pi, you can use the mounting platform provided for this purpose. To do this, remove the supplied mounting platform and attach your Raspberry Pi to it. Once you have attached your Raspberry Pi, place the mounting platform on the back of the display and mount it (screw holes 9 -Vesa).
  • Page 5 2.3 Connection to a device First connect the display to the enclosed power supply unit. Next, connect the HDMI cable to the display and to the device to be used. To be able to use the touch functions, the enclosed USB cable must also be connected to the display and the device to be used.

    3. USE OF THE DISPLAY 3.1 Manual installation & calibration For use with a Raspberry Pi, a few settings must first be edited in raspi-config. To do this, enter the following command: sudo raspi-config In raspi-config, you must now select Wayland under 6 Advanced Options, A6 and switch from Wayfire to X11 there.
  • Page 7 The next step is to check all connected devices for their names, as these names will be required later on. To do this, we use the following command: xinput list Once you have executed the command, you should see a list of different devices and their names. You must also have "eGalax Inc.

Then restart your Raspberry Pi with the following command to apply the changes. sudo reboot Once your Raspberry Pi has booted up again, one last change needs to be made.

You can download an older driver here. 3.3 Use with a Windows PC Connect the display with the enclosed power cable. Now connect your computer and the display with an HDMI or VGA cable, depending on your preference.

  • Page 16 Now you need to click on the 4-point calibration to per- form a new calibration: If there is a problem with the recognition of the USB touchscreen driver, the eGalax Touch driver must be uninstalled and reinstalled. During the installation, make sure that you have connected the USB cable to the computer and the touch interface of the display.

    4. ROTATE DISPLAY To rotate the display on the screen, proceed as follows: Click Start → Preferences → Screen Configuration Click Layout → Screen → HDMI-1 → Orientation and select the desired orientation of the display.
