SLC408-16T HIGH OUTPUT, HIGH EFFICIENCY
PREASSEMBLED CEILING SPEAKER SYSTEM
For the past twenty-five years, Altec Lansing's CD408 has been one of the
most highly specified and installed professional-grade ceiling speaker in the
world. With the model SLC408-16T, Altec Lansing introduces the king of all
premium 8" Duplex high fidelity ceiling speakers in a preassembled, quick-
mount package.
The SLC408-16T features a sensitivity rating of 98 dB SPL and a 16 watt
premium grade transformer. This means that our 4 watt tap delivers output
equal to the 30 watt tap from a ceiling speaker rated at 89 dB SPL. At the
16 watt tap, the SLC408-16T generates 110 dB SPL (@ 1 m). In a high ceiling
