- Page 2 Introduction The DXE-RSR-710 Radio Side Rails kit is specially designed for protection of the popular Yaesu FT-710 transceivers, especially the front and rear panels, when using the radio for portable operations. Radio Side Rails are very sturdy, made from high strength but lightweight impact-resistant black polymer, making them ideal for POTA and backpack operations, as well as casual portable activities.
- Page 3 Attach a side rail to one side of the transceiver using either the two M4 socket head button screws with flat washers (use the included 2.5 mm Allen Wrench) or two thumb screws as shown below. Put the socket head screws or thumb screws in loosely and when both are installed, tighten the screws to a maximum of 10 inch pounds.
- Page 4 All products manufactured by DX Engineering are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment. DX Engineering’s sole obligation under these warranties shall be to issue credit, repair or replace any item or part thereof which is proved to be other than as warranted; no allowance shall be made for any labor charges of Buyer for replacement of parts, adjustment or repairs, or any other work, unless such charges are authorized in advance by DX Engineering.
